The mission of the newly established Large Scale Cross National SIG is to promote research related to large-scale cross-national studies in education. The SIG will provide a space within CIES for interaction between scholars who are contributing to the three aforementioned lines of research. Also, the SIG will bring together scholars and practitioners who are designing and implementing international assessments of educational achievement.
